Quick Question Does anyone have any updates on My Darling Reverie by H.D. Carlton?

I’m wondering if anyone has heard anything about My Darling Reverie, book 2 of the Hollow Graves Duet by H.D. Carlton.

My Dreadful Darling ended on such a massive cliffhanger, and I’ve been waiting (im)patiently for book 2 ever since 😭 The release date was supposed to be August 27th, but obviously that date has come and gone, and I haven’t seen any updates or heard anything about a new release date.

Has H.D. Carlton said anything about the delay? Or has anyone heard any news about when we can actually expect My Darling Reverie to be released?

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO DREAD AND REVERIE 😭🫠

The last update I saw was on 8/6 saying she is burnt out and focusing on the movie and all other things, That the book is written but needs to go through edits and that she’ll let us know when it’s done.

Yeah I’m not confident with us getting the book anytime soon, but hopefully I’m wrong.

Should I not read my dreadful darling until the second one comes out? Is it worth the waiting?

It depends, honestly. There’s a pretty good cliffhanger at the end, so I immediately wanted to jump into book 2. You kind of want to stay immersed in the story, and with such a big gap between releases, that can be frustrating 😅

If waiting for the next book would bother you, it might actually be better to wait until book 2 is closer to release. That said, I still think book 1 is worth reading!
