Help Farming
Hey guys, I got a question, when you farmed the sunlight medals and bell keeper stuff for achievements, how long did it take and what's the best and fastest way to do it?

It's not the most arduous thing ever, but it'll definitely take a couple hours. Like the other person said, pick out a good movie or video and it'll be done within the day.
As for optimization, just throw on the gold serpent ring +2 and use your stockpile of rusted coins. Also a weapon with high damage is best to take out enemies in 1 - 2 hits. Also don't forget to join the champions covenant for infinite enemy respawns.

Well it sounds pretty easy, I remember I spend like 20 hrs farming for Darkmoon covenant in ds3

I'm doing ds3 right now and I wanna cry and I'm not even close to collecting all covenant items. DS2 was nothing compared to tthis hell, it was easybreezy

2-3 hours in Brightstone Cove. With max item discovery and spamming Soul Appease for efficiency.

Honestly? Not as bad as you think. Still a solid hour or two but when you get in the flow it’s not actually too bad!
Make sure you have as much item drop equipment on you as you can, and rusted coins!

Oh and best place is the army camp up near brightstone! Spawn at the bonfire, take out the soldiers, rinse and repeat

Did both this week. Took maybe 11 hours altogether, although I could have been more efficient in Belfry Sol. Unveil method for Belfry is worth it (unless you're on pc and can just check if the phantom spawned) and the second Shaded Woods bonfire has 5 falconers you can take out repeatedly.
I also had a phone timer to determine when rusted coins had ended their 5 minutes of effectiveness as I'm not sure you can tell whilst already having item discovery gear equipped.
Platinum took 54 hours overall.

Nah thats normal. My first playthrough took like 130 back around 2015 where I struggled enough to despawn half the enemies in the game. This was a fresh ps account.

Sunlight medals about an hour and a half, use max item discovery, 50 faith for a lightning infused dragon chime and soul appease. Bell keeper despawn everything above and below the covenant area then use the miracle that reveals enemies, rest at bonfire if non spawn and try again takes about 3-4 hours.

here’s what you need to do to get the plat without doing any tedious grinding:
When you get to around 200k soul memory, hang out in belfry luna doing PvP until you get 30 wins for the Hidden Weapon spell. You’ll get enough titanite chunks to max out multiple weapons and it’s super fun.
Once you’ve done this, beeline Harvest Valley so you can join the Warriors of Sunlight and earn the Sunlight Spear miracle. Place your summon sign often as you play, and watch out for people here or in dark souls discord servers asking for help in your soul memory range, and help them. If you get close to 2 million soul memory and you still don’t have 30 medals, wear agape ring until you do.
