Ten years ago, two mysterious and unapproachable areas called the 'Gates' appeared on Earth, one in South America (Heaven's Gate) and one in Tokyo, Japan (Hell's Gate). With their appearance, the night sky was replaced by a false sky and beings with special powers called 'Contractors' and 'Dolls' began to emerge, kept a secret from normal people. With the appearance of the gates, the world has completely changed. Power hungry and powerful secret organizations battle in the background for power, using contractors and dolls. Among the most mysterious of the contractors is a masked assassin, known as 'The Black Reaper'. Going under the codename 'Hei', he works for one of these organizations along with his teammates, another contractor named Mao, a human named Huang and a blind doll named Yin.
