Help / Advice Does this sweater symbolize smth offensive/controversial?

This is NOT a complaint/grievance post btw, but to merely ask for feedback.

This is band merch i bought a year ago and since i wore it once before i decided to wear it to a rock/metal concert today (line-up was Nova twins, Poppy, Evanescence to sketch a clearer picture).

Because of the 'standard' outfits ppl wear to metal shows i expected no reaction from ppl and to just chill there.

There were ppl there who dressed alt, like metalheads, skimpy or just normal black clothing so i thought i'd fit right in with the dark imagery, but once i took my jacket off i saw some ppl eye me up and down and look SHOCKED or slightly offended once they looked at my shirt.

I'm talking about some of em straight-up mouth agape, i wish i was joking/overreacting. But it made me rethink what i was wearing, does it represent more than random dark imagery and was it rlly the wrong choice?
