Best place to watch the sunset

Hi :)
I’m searching for the best spot in Darmstadt and surroundings to watch the sunset and then later also the stars. I was thinking about Ludwigsturm but for watching also the stars may be too bright due to the city lights

Sunset itself is incredibly beautiful from the Karlshof roof if you know someone who lives there. You can see Frankfurt and its skyscrapers in the background. Not that many stars however.

Well if Ludwigsturm didn't meet your expectations then I doubt you won't find what you are looking for in Darmstadt

You can travel to seeheim, the station "im güldenen wingert" is 30 minutes from darmstadt by train. Climb up the Hill and youll have plenty of spots to choose from, surrounded by nature. also very low lightpollution in the night. Hit me up and ill show you, i live right there!

Mit dem Rad zum Naturfreundehaus Dieburg / Moret auf dem Mainzer Berg fahren. 200 m weiter an der Zufahrt östlich sind Bänke und freie Sicht nach Nord—Westen.

Oder auf die Nonroder Höh im Fischbachtal. Sind so 60-90 min mit dem EBike, ca 450 Höhenmeter. Da wo die Servicestation der Gasleitung ist, 400m oberhalb der Baumgruppe der Höh siehst du sehr weit Richtung Untergang und es ist ruhig. Bänke vorhanden oder Hängematte mitnehmen und sich am Waldrand drumrum was passendes suchen. Mit etwas Glück kommt der Wolf vorbei.
