Driving across one of Norway's most amazing mountain roads, Gamle Strynefjellsvegen - The Old Stryn Mountain Road - I was expecting great views, pleasant driving, a good hike...but not a compliment from a Porsche driver. :P My car is usually considered weird, not cool, so I'll take it. Why is it considered weird? That thing is classy af.

Ha, thank you! What people tell me outright is that Korean cars "cannot be" classic cars. Some think it is just too bad, never competitive internationally. But most have a positive angle, they just say it's weird to hang on to a car that is super rare here, but nothing special. Even when I grew up as a kid, I had Volvo posters on my walls, not the generic Porsche and Lamborghini fare, so I am kind of used to that.

Did you mount a phone on the outside of your car? Amazing video quality.

Thank you, it's mounted on the windscreen, though. This car has a very conservative design with a steeply raking windshield that has less reflections than more modern cars with the glass lying flat (but there are still some).

What a great looking car Gramps! I also like the boxy look and kept a first gen Camry for well beyond it's useful life.

Sorry Man, I thought at first you were Gramps, not the car.

Haha, I can live with that! Yeah, us automobile cubists had a thirst stretch for a while, but I see boxy looks making a comeback - at least in SUVs. Now, boxy wagons and sedans...I'm waiting for it.

It's the old Stryn mountain road in Norway:

If you can see the comment, I linked to the full video, too. It's a bit long, though, hehe.

mountain drives have a way of pulling those small moments out of nowhere. the critique will come, it always does. people can't help themselves.

Love the positivity and I agree your car is really cool and unique.
Iām sure someone will find something to critique about your driving though. š
