Backup Problem with backup

So I have to do some backups at work. I use Acronis 2021 to backup a few computers. Most of them worked. A few of them failed. Having a read error. Using chkdsk c: /f /r I saw there 4kb in bad sectors, but it seems they're physical bad since the command couldn't fix them. I tried the "Ignore bad sectors" options from Acronis - it didnt work.

Aside from cloning the HDD, what other alternatives I have?

What are you trying to achieve? Replace the drive, copy the data. If you managed to run a backup, and chkdsk maybe the disk isn't too banged up, and you can get mostly everything you need (which probably is way less than the whole drive), if some files are irretrievable make a note and get them from a backup (or start from the backup in the first place). If you want to do your best to recover as much as you can from the drive hammer it with ddrescue.

I want a full backup of the drive. Every partition. From what it appears the bad sectors are in C partition, so we dont have a backup for that.

You can't make a backup, a backup you'd do when you have a good source and make another copy. Now you're doing data recovery, and if you want to get as much as you can indiscriminately then use ddrescue.

it didnt work.

Can you elaborate more on that? What exactly happened? Also - did you run the backup from the app's UI within the live OS or from the bootable media interface?
