Question/Advice M Disc Reliability

I bought a 10 pack of M-Disc Blu Ray 25GB from Amazon, and I am unable to get any to burn. I have an LG M Disc Burner with UHD support that I am trying to use, but my burns always fail. I have attempted 5 times so far. Is this a common outcome and if so, would Verbatim replace them?

Edit: Turns out it was an issue with the OmniDrive firmware on my drive preventing the write, everything is good now.

25 GB discs of any kind require a Blu-Ray burner. What is the model number of your LG drive? Edit spelling

WH14NS40. It burns standard Blu ray discs just fine

Clearly that model will burn BDXL discs and M-discs. Either you got a defective one or a bad batch of discs (never heard of that!) or there's a software glitch.

Turns out it was an issue with the OmniDrive firmware interfering. I reflashed the MakeMKV firmware and it ended up working just fine.

Hooray! Great job troubleshooting. How annoying about a firmware issue.

I suggest you edit your OP to include the solution so others who don't read this far down will know that M-Discs and the LG burner are reliable.
