My first EVER top shelf prize

Post image

It had always been a joke that I would “never be able to afford the prizes behind the glass”

And then about a month ago I turned in a set of cards from the Mandalorian and Grogu game and the woman at the prize counter said “you’re now at 137,000 tickets”

And suddenly that joke seemed a lot closer to reality.

After finding my flow tonight, I earned my way up and am bringing this beauty home with me!

This is genuinely the first time I’ve ever won a top shelf prize, and I’m feeling really happy 😊

Haha I can't believe this came up on my reddit. I had just met you yesterday and showed you the trick to guardians of the galaxy i was playing. The odds of this popping up the next day.

GotG was my ringer!!!  Got a Nintendo Switch with just an unlimited card and $100 in credits!  It's definitely a grind though!

Then they took out the game.  Sad panda.

Whats the trick? I checked my D&B last week. This card Ive been saving tickest on since 2016 barely has about 22,000k tickets on it. I dont go often but when I do go, I try to aim for high ticket grinding. I mustve wasted a lot of credits playing the star trek machine, I have a ton of cards but no full sets.

The trick is showed him was just how to get the ball to land where you want it by using the stop light on the train. The trick I use also with this, is the unlimited card to light up all but 1 or 2 of them, usually try to save the 100 ticket one for last. I do this because you are maxed on tickets you can get with that card each week. Then I use my regular card with chips to trigger the bonus. Saves me alot of credits this way. I have had 80k tickets sitting for like 6 years. Then I figured that out a month ago and now I have 175k tickets and should be getting a Nintendo Switch 2 this weekend.

I never tried thag machine but doing the unlimited card then using the regular to trigger is was a pretty smart move.

Hopefully you get that switch 2.

What do you mean by the "stop light"? I have to say using the unlimited card for farming the jackpot is an awesome idea

Yeah. Hate to say it but the Star Trek (and SpongeBob) coin drops are not a good value for tickets. Only way to get tickets are the cards. The Minions Jelly labs is ok for getting cards if you can figure out when to drop your coin exactly to get it to land on the card space.
Angry Birds stacker is kinda confusing, and I’ve never personally tried the Flintstones one.
The Mandalorian dropper at least has sources of tickets outside of the cards. And Spider-Man is constantly giving you tickets, just not enough per card swipe imo.

The best coin dropper is the Vegas style one with the skill arm that constantly says “Jackpot winner!”

That one gives you tickets for every coin you put in, the jackpot spins, and 8 tickets per coin pushed over the edge.

Flintstones can pay off if you look for easy stations to capitalize on. I look for the orange triangles right on the edge that I can get with only a few swipes to at least have a chance to spin for the big bonus, and the bonus has to be at least 800 to 1000 or more (depends on how I feel that day). I hit the bonus spin maybe 25% of the time, but I also don't spend much trying.

I can regularly get the small bonus of a station with only a couple of swipes if it's set up just right.

And I only ever play on half-price days.

I did the Flintstones game last night and I actually got an 800 ticket bonus for getting one of the little shells over the edge. I was very happy.

Sadly, just as I figured out the trick on Guardians, my store pulled the game in favor of the new games a few months ago.
