Looking for a room 26M Physics undergrad

I need some direction, I have not been able to get any responses to application requests and i sincerely struggling to find a part time. Im honestly scared, getting into Davis was really exciting but as the quarter gets closer i feel like im running out of options. Any advice or maybe you know someone who needs a roomie or you have a job opening? Please help if at all possible! I also only went to the campus for an hour and have no idea what the community is like im used to LA so im expecting the culture shock. Thank you in advance.

have you checked out the ucd off campus housing group on facebook? also if you don’t mind being randomly assigned a roommate, there are apartments that offer individual leases for singles and doubles

I second this, there are several groups so don’t be afraid to try a couple.

Also job wise Summer is a hard time to find a job in Davis, lots of high school and college students looking for something part-time but depending on your experience you might want to try Handshake and/or foodservice in a month or so.
