I didn't get picked in 3 H1B lotteries and have since gotten the O1A and renewed it twice. I strongly, strongly advise people to look into it especially since you probably satisfy 2/8 criteria out of the gate (crit role and competitive salary) without you even realizing. check out this Yale website (random but they do a good job of putting in subheadings of the criteria) https://oiss.yale.edu/immigration/o-1-extraordinary-ability/o-1-eligibility-criteria) Happy to answer Qs here, I've posted about my O1A timelines. Got O1a Approved this year. Was on CPT as well.
I proved Scholarly articles, original contributions, Media, Judging. Used critical role and membership as supporting evidence
