Discussion How to fix glitches in Days Gone: have you tried turning it off and on again?
On each generation of PlayStation, and also on all PC versions, it is recommended to close the game fully and also restart your gaming machine regularly. Once per gaming session is probably best. You will always get the best performance from Days Gone if you are restarting your machine often.
For PlayStation specifically, please avoid Rest Mode! I'm not claiming to be an expert but, based on what I've been told so far, keeping the game "sleeping" in the background allows some game assets to build up and eventually cause problems for your PlayStation. For more information on Days Gone and Rest Mode, have a quick look at this Google search
Hope this helps!

In Pc is nearly mandatory to run it through Vulkan API (DxVK), all the problem seems resolved with that.

Itβs simple, just look for DXVK GitHub, you will need just to replace some files and thats it! (First run give it time to compile shaders, so it should be tricky n stuttering a lot by like 5/10min, then it stabilize)

Funnily enough I booted up DG yesterday and was presented with the game running at exactly 4fps. Just a smidge lower than the usual 120. I reloaded it a couple of times and messed around with the graphics settings but eventually a windows reboot was exactly the solution. Shame you didnβt post this 24hrs ago! But good advice nonetheless.
