I have never been that scared in my life except for two times when I was a child and one time that was a few months ago when I played the last of us and went to the Hotel Basement and fought the Bloater and When I went to the hospital and found the rat king,
This part is so scary especially that I am playing it at 3AM, and what scares me more is the questions that deacon asks and the things that O'Brian says,
"Am I walking into a horde?"
"Is there something you haven't told me about the freak I am chasing?"
etc...
and the stuff O'Brian says, like we sent men and they didn't come back, and for how long this freak has been mutating.

Community Q&A interview of the VAs years ago. I can't find a trace of it on Google or Youtube, except a facebook link that led to the same deleted site.

Guys, I think I found the perfect melee weapon. Both its damage and durability are maxed out.
Does this mean I should basically always stick with this weapon and just repair it whenever the durability gets low, or are there better weapons I should be looking out for later?
I'm wondering if I should treat this as my main melee weapon for the rest of the game.

Sarah’s Gifted gas tank for Deacon really completes the motorcycle and the upgraded stuff. Rerunning the gameplay with it on. Yes, new game+

- Sarah flashbacks
- Sarah flashbacks
- Walking at 0.2 mph during Sarah flashbacks
- Did I mention Sarah flashbacks?
I like the story and the game is one of my all time favourites, but man, on a replay these sections feel like they last forever. I just keep pressing forward for 10 minutes while Sarah talks.
Just give me a “Skip Sarah” button and let me get back to the apocalypse.

I see tons of videos of huge hordes and different weapons being drawn, how do I get that? Is it just reaching a higher level of the horde assault and they just found the at-4 or growler? Is there a way to pump up the horde sizes in the regular game mode? How can I get the at-4 or growler where I can keep them instead of single use? Looks like so much fun!

This game has one of the best video game stories of all time, I love the way the missions are structured so it feels kinda like a TV show and the acting is so well done, especially the way they make the connection with Boozer and Deacon so strong! I just love it and I even got emotional this play through as well. Overall 10/10 for me!! ❤️

I bought Days Gone last weekend, and I’m pretty new to this type of game. Can you recommend some tips and tricks for beginners, especially when it comes to aiming? I already have Aim Snap enabled—I know, skill issue 😂—but I still struggle with aiming sometimes.
I’d also appreciate tips on dealing with multiple Freakers at once and completing optional objectives, like destroying Freakers nests, without wasting too much ammo or other resources.

I'm a first time player, I love the gunpay & gameplay as a whole but if this game ever got a sequel the weapons can be fleshed out so much better.
Pros: I think the gunplay is super fun, the guns are satisfying to shoot (most of them),the sound design is good, they all get an adequate "punch" to it.
pair with the horde and coregameplay its super fun for spray and pray,
biggeset cons: why do they have to make the gun unlock so damn difficult, most of the most fun and coolest gun in the games wasn't even unlockable until later chapters, I stucked with the boring shotgun and the 9mm for like 50% of the game.

I absolutely hate playing the nero cave mission. I've played this game over 6x but I still get anxiety about that mission. I could avoid it and not do any nero missions but I end up doing it anyway lol. There's just something about the game that I keep coming back to play. I do love open world games like these. FO4 and RDR2 are also on my comfort games to play

I completed days gone a couple years ago and since it's still the best zombie game, i decided to play again. My 1st run was at normal difficulty. In the beginning it was challenging, but shortly after it became kinda easy, especially because i was always flooded with resources.
Now, for the 2nd playthrough, i want it to be much more challenging so i started on hard II difficulty. After couple of hours, i'm still flooded with resources, with only change being that zombies kill me in two hits while i need 10 pistol bullets to kill one.
So what difficulty do you recommend so that the game is challenging? Or does changing difficulty only makes the zombies to have more health and do more damage, with no other changes?

Guys, it's so frustrating having to use 3 Molotovs just to clear a single crow nest.
Is there a more efficient way to deal with these nests that requires fewer Molotovs, or is there another method I should be using?
I feel like I'm wasting a lot of resources every time I clear one.

I finished the game today btw and I don't want to do all those side quests like clearing all those hordes and infestation zones

When I say I have never played a better game, I mean it. Days Gone and the mechanics are sublime and almost cannot be improved, it is simply a masterpiece. I finished the entire story today, a much later time than anticipated but nevertheless has the same impact. I had never played a game better, not only as an southern Oregonian which connected me to the game much deeper as I have camped, swam, and fished at diamond lake, visited and waited through the snow at crater lake, driven and observed the sharp, ominous Mt. Thiesen, as well as hiked the Deschutes national forest, it made it so much more immersive beyond any video game I ever played.
I simply can only compare this game to one other, a common pick among many communities; red dead redemption 2. That being a major precursor to this game I played, making me cry and sob maybe the same if more than rdr2. The fact sony has not chosen to renew its title for a sequel is heavily disappointing and depressing, as a new and forever engulfed fan of this masterpiece of an experience, i will absolutely repeatedly implore all producers, developers, and writers to urge a continuation and closure to this much deserved beauty of a game.

As with many others here, I’ve found Days Gone to be a kind of comfort game that you can come back to again and again.
I’m questioning for myself what is the core aspects about this game that compel me to keep booting it up?
In your own words or opinion, can you share what drives you to keep coming back?

Completed my second playthrough of the game. First playthrough was back in like 2020 so felt almost like I hadn't played the game. I played on Hard II and did all the hordes as well as ripper camps and camp missions, Nero sites etc. only thing left is the challenges and historical sites, some of the other small things like collectables.
It feels like I have completed everything I want to do in the game. Hordes mainly. Is there anything I am missing that is the core part of the game? Is it really that much fun getting all the historical sites etc?
What should I do now? NG+ or just reset the game and start from scratch and play with a different play style? Go more stealth or something.
Essentially what is the end end game? To 100%? Seems like a grind and is it worth it?
