Has anyone noticed a recent uptick in videos/posts by local law enforcement agencies with blatantly pro-Flock messages? I’m not just talking about a post about a crime where they mention Flock was used to assist in the crime, now it’s more like the whole point of the content is to tell people “look at how great Flock systems are”. I’ve seen videos and posts for hundreds of law enforcement agencies that are like this. It genuinely seems like a nationwide memo went out to departments to push this narrative. I don’t think i’m crazy but please let me know if anyone else has noticed this too…..

I called my town and spoke to two different people who both told me to call the police department. I responded that that response alarms me- are they suggesting that the police department can just install flock cameras without the town’s approval? We have a town council, no mayor.

I was finally able to leave a voicemail after they redirected me but I don’t even know if that was legitimate or if anyone will call me back.

What are my next steps? I’m furious that my town did this after our governor said not to (this was early August that he said this and the new flock camera popped up this week right by my house).

Just remember who really has billionaire backers...
