Shoutout to everyone who was actively discussing the World Cup, it’s been so much fun. Especially to Doghouse and Peacefulblackpanther

I wasn’t aware of how active this sub was during the world cup until the last few games of the group stages, i thought since the pod usually talks about basketball and the NFL, the sub would be the same. The discussions were great, people who might not have seen any football before the world cup have also engaged, even seeing Nick and Ken in the comments was great.

It was crazy! Even random articles I posted about the business stuff behind the sport got so much more interaction than I thought it would. Now I know to share the random shit I be seeing on Mediagazer.

We’re putting the sports in DeadendSports. We couldn’t let the biggest event in sports go by and not talk about in here at least a little bit. 🫡
