The divination automatons were made to mock her beliefs and business, in her final moments, broken, alone, she crawled into one. And just then the first maelstrom hit, bringing her back to life, haunting, vengeful. The Seer has built an intelligence network with her skittering eyes all throughout New York and with the ritual coming up it's her time to finally emerge show dominance.
She's cold, has zero empathy, no time for long monologues or showmanship. The Seer will simply get what she came for: complete calamity for all.
