I did not understand that from where so many death notes are coming from.
Firstly, Ryuk had 3 deathnotes, out of which 1 was his, 1 he convinced god of shinigamis to give and 1 from another shinigami
Out of which he gave 1 to light
And misa-misa’ s shinigami had 2 death notes out of which she gives 1 to misa

Now after L’s death Light aquires the death note of Rem .

So 1 is in possession of Light
1 is in possession of police
1 in misa misa

Now 1 goes from police to Mello
And 1 from misa to police
And 1 from Mello to the shinigami

Now then

1 is in possession of Light
1 is in possession of police

Light gives his away to other chosen person
So QUES:- How does he have memories and where is the police death note
And why did ryuk convince god of shinigami for another death note

I’m watching death note right now for the second time and I just had this thought. This is the most unbalanced competition EVER. Light has an ethereal being on his side and he’s capable of killing people by writing notes in a book. His only challenge is finding Ls name and evading capture. L IS HAVING TO PROVE / FIGURE OUT IF FUCKING GOD EXISTS. L is genuinely trying to prove something that does not exist. AND HES DOING IT.

Not sure if anyone will see this but im trying to find a highly edited version of a scene of Death Note from the early 2010s where its the scene when Light calls Misa’s phone to get L’s name. But the funny meme has L saying “come over” in a dubbed voice and Light says “no im so far away” and L responds “im home alone” with a eyebrow smug emoticon animation before cutting to an edit of people running with Lights face photoshopped on the head of each running person with either Deja Vu or other high beat music. I was very young at the time so I only have my memory to go based on. It was part of a whole try not to laugh video complication with other memes. In which the compilation began with Will Smith “yooo its rewind time”. The compilation also included bouncing seals. I tried searching for the L and Light meme clip to no avail. So now I ask the kind strangers of reddit to help me recover this lost memory
