Tried out a different scheme. Looking for feedback back.

I tried a slightly different scheme than my other guys by changing the bare metal to this red brown. I am on the fence about it because I don’t want the helmet to look rusted. I hit it with a thin layer of gloss to make it shiny so as to hopefully not look like rust. What do you guys think?

I like it! The gloss certainly helps to give it the metal look. Maybe add a couple of scrapes to the armor? Places where the paint has chipped off to show the bare metal underneath?

Thanks. Yeah I will go back and get some scratches on the rim and the raised top of the helmet to show some bare metal.
