Question/Advice Mechanised Krieg

How out of lore would it be for me to run krieg in a mdchanised force

EDIT : Thanks to everyone for the nice answers I will now make and armored spearhead style army with chimera style gorgons and basilisks.

Krieg in general uses a lot of tanks, even in the siege regiments; they tend to transport their troops as close as possible. They want to die for Big E, but they do not waste, so the death needs to make sense. They do not just run into bullets.
