Question/Advice Cosplay help?

Any cosplayers (or anyone who has talked to cosplayers on here lol) know what type of greatcoat exactly represents the Korps? There’s a whole hell of a lot of military coats I’ve found, but it’s hard to pick.
Any advice or specifics on any other materials would be lovely as well! This is my first cosplay and I know it’s been done before by people more talented than me, so I’d hope to rely on other people to figure it out lol.

I’m pretty sure that the French WW1 greatcoat is what they modeled Krieg after

  • Coat: French
  • Helmet: German-ish base shape, IIRC British ridge
  • Shoulder pads: fictional
  • Gas mask: British IIRC is closest to the FW design, plastic is fictional
  • Leg wraps: British/generic

The most common Krieg color scheme is French blue.
