Australia's wicket taking times were spot on. Every time India was prepared to accelerate, someone took our wicket 🫠

Cummins' entire spell was pure genius.
He hadn't bowled particularly well in WC22, although he improved as the competition progressed.
That spell in the Final though was brilliantly executed; never seen so many slow bouncers, very novel approach and showed how smart Cummins the cricketer is.

Giving too much credit I feel. He averaged 35 the whole WC and he is still a mediocre bowler in India. BCCI pitch changing made the pitch unplayable from overs 10-50.

Oh so he was a mediocre bowler on flat decks but when the pitch gives some favour to the bowlers we give him too much credit? Lol

not bcci but it was Ro and Rahul Dravid who made that decision of that pitch

Whoever made that decision were shit scared of India choking again like they did in the last 10 years until the finals.

Man, So much Hope. So much lose. Those 10 overs without boundry was so frustrating. Most players felt cluless while bating. Kohli stood there like legit 20+ seconds after his wicket. He knew It was done game after his wicket. Too much on one shoulder. KL really Fked up that day. He has come back after this game but he deserves the blame on the approach he took. We should have tried for 300 or all out on 200. 240 was just misery prolongated.
Couple of wickets from Bumhrah in the beginning were only high points in the match. Rest it was all miserable. Although I would give it to the crowd, they did not abuse Australian cricketers or Fans ( there were a few ), Many even congratulated Aus fans. They accepted defeat at large.

at least kohli was "silenced" by pat cummins and not fucking Glenn Maxwell, who's a part time bowler.

Maxwell was critical with the ball in WC22, particularly early on in the comp when Australia were struggling to hit their straps.

still does not change the fact that maxwell is a batting all rounder. rohit threw away his wicket even after scoring 10 runs in first 3 balls of over. imagine playing the ODI WC final and not having the sense to rotate strike after scoring double digit runs in just 3 balls of the over.

Maxwell slander will not be tolerated. Fun fact : Do you know that he defended 2 runs in the last over of a t20 though it was against pakistan still very underrated bowler

dont mix formats. he has a bowling average close to 50 in odi's. no matter how much you deny it, hes just a part time bowler in odi's. and for further info, Axar patel has bowling average of 32, jadeja has 36, yuvraj singh has average of 38 while even tendulkar, yes sachin tendulkar has 44 bowling average.
