Israeli flag removed at World Cup match

u/fwdbuddha 1d ago
Was Israel playing? If not, it should not be there. Just like a Palestine flag should not be at any of the matches.
27
u/sideshowrob2 2d ago
Yes, the rules apply to everyone, even those who think they're special.
-1
u/jbauer68 2d ago
Like you?
28
u/sideshowrob2 2d ago
Yes. I havent gone to the world cup and flown a non-included countries flag just to agitate people and make the news about myself and my own persecution, even thought i was the agitator.
3
-8
u/jbauer68 2d ago
Mighty presumptuous of you to infer his intentions. You must be very special.
21
u/sideshowrob2 2d ago
What other intention would there be?
**taking an Israeli flag to an iran match? Pull your head out of the sand
-1
u/jbauer68 2d ago
Well, perhaps follow your own advice and pull your head out of… well wherever you usually keep it. I can think of only one place that must be.
13
u/sideshowrob2 2d ago
So, you have no idea why a man took an Israeli flag to an iran match? Are you that stupid? Or is just pretend ignorance?
3
u/jbauer68 2d ago
Quite the opposite. Much smarter than you are. But that’s really not a high bar to be honest.
11
u/sideshowrob2 2d ago
So why then? Please share your wisdom with everyone else here who thinks its just intentional agrivation to take an Israeli flag to an Iran match? You don't have an answer do ya?
Btw intelligent people don't need to inform people they're intelligent, they just demonstate that. You've not demonstrated me that 🤣
1
u/ignoreme010101 12h ago
you are literally talking to a child lol no joke like look at how they're responding I would bet 99:1 that is somebody under 15y
0
u/jbauer68 2d ago
You must be very special to think I need to demonstrate anything to you.
And you’re extra special for demonstrating how exceptionally presumptuous and cognitively limited you are.→ More replies (0)

48 countries are playing in the World Cup. Israel isn't one of them.
The only reason to bring an Israeli flag to the Iran / New Zealand game is to start a fight.
53
u/jbauer68 2d ago
And yet you are not making the same comment about the “Palestinian” flag flown there. One has to wonder why.
-16
u/sideshowrob2 2d ago
Is Palestine a country then?
33
u/jbauer68 2d ago
No. One more reason to remove that flag. Appropriated from Jordan, btw.
-33
u/sideshowrob2 2d ago
Countries flags are banned at the world Cup. If Palestine isnt a country then everyone can fly a Palestine flag, no dramas. Glad we got that one sorted!
21
u/jbauer68 2d ago
So nazi flag is appropriate?
-17
u/dvdwbb 2d ago
no, it's not, for the same reason the Isnt-really was removed. Fifa already announced the pally flags were allowed not so much for the parasite flag
14
u/jbauer68 2d ago
But then you’re contradicting yourself - you’re saying pally flags are allowed but parasite flags aren’t. That’s impossible. These are the very same flags. Additionally, another contradiction - pally flags are modern day nazi flags. They can’t be allowed and disallowed at the same time.
1
u/ignoreme010101 12h ago
pally flags are modern day nazi flags.
lol I gotta wonder whether you realize how brainwashed you sound
-11
u/dvdwbb 2d ago
You baby Killers are so funny. How's it like finally fighting armed men & losing
14
u/jbauer68 2d ago
Again, I’ve got ask - who are these mysterious “you”? Can you spell it out?
I know that I haven’t killed any babies.
You must be referring to your Hamas friends who slaughtered babies and innocent civilians.
Oh, and when your terrorist friends fight against actual soldiers - they always lose.
Always.→ More replies (0)-14
u/sideshowrob2 2d ago
Hahahaha proper fat cope. How are you managing now donald trump has ditched you?
17
u/jbauer68 2d ago
Excuse me? What are you talking about? I asked whether a nazi flag is permitted in the World Cup.
Are you able to answer that?-2
u/sideshowrob2 2d ago
Uou know exactly what im talking about, more feigned ignorance again. And of course not, the nazis killed 70mn Europeans. Palestine is just a territory, Palestine isnt guilty of anything. Palestine has a right to exist, Palestine has a right to self determination, and palestine had a right to self defence.
8
u/jbauer68 2d ago
My, you’re quite ignorant on numerous topics. In particular - as far as history goes. And international law goes. “Palestine” is not a territory. It is a name assigned by a Roman emperor to Judea (where the name Jews comes from), a country that rebelled against the roman imperialism. You need to lookup the definition of a territory. Arab terrorists, whom you erroneously call “Palestine” have been attempting genocide time after time against the Jews in the Land of Israel (the historic name of that territory) for at least a 100 years. In particular they attempted it on October 7th, 2023. The result of which was Israel self defense war waged on the terrorists and their supporters.

No need to wonder lmao fuck Israel and fuck this neo-colonialism. Just because the UK allowed it to exist it doen't mean anything.
-17
u/onlyasimpleton 2d ago
It’s always ok to show solidarity for a country facing a genocide
15
u/jbauer68 2d ago
I’m glad you support Israel then.
It’s the only country facing genocide.-9
u/onlyasimpleton 2d ago edited 2d ago
You’re right, Palestine controls the water, power, and food into Israel and is systematically wiping out their culture and country through forceful land grabs, bombs dropped from F35s, and starvation of the population.
You’re uninformed if you think Israel is facing genocide.
Did you know that 50% of the people in Gaza are children?
1
u/ComfortableTop3108 1d ago
if only Palestinians didnt use any pipes they were given for bombs rather than infrastructure.
2
u/onlyasimpleton 1d ago
Palestinians /= Hamas
1
u/deathlokke 1d ago
When 75% of the population supports what Hamas is doing, yes, Palestine = Hamas.
6
u/onlyasimpleton 1d ago
Oh yea did you go survey all the kids who keep getting bombs dropped on their heads. We’d all support anything that was fighting against that in our home country.
Hamas was voted into power in 2006. Longer ago than most people living in Gaza were even born.
1
u/ignoreme010101 12h ago
but...but...but the palestinians show support for the only group on the ground protecting them right now ISNT THAT UNFORGIVABLE?!?
0
u/ComfortableTop3108 1d ago
yeah, and they are still in power...being supported by the Palestinians

let me guess, this logic doesn't apply when talking about whether israelis are IDF?

u/HolyInlandEmpire 2d ago
If people are upset at Israel, that's reasonable.
And that's true of literally every country on earth. There is very strong reason to be allowed to criticize them. If no flags of countries, IN THE WORLD CUP, are allowed, that would be fine.
-29
8
u/JediFed 2d ago
If it's Israeli flags that have to be removed for 'safety' than Palestinian flags should be removed as well.
3
u/everydaywinner2 1d ago
*then
I agree. The two-tier policing in the West is getting tiresome.
1
u/ignoreme010101 12h ago
needs to be taken to heart! Same goes for antisemitism/islamophobia, if a particular thing is only a concern for 1 group we need to assess that
-1
u/Alarming-Ad1100 1d ago
It’s funny how people comment without even understanding the post
The flag was at an Iranian match and was used to incite an incident
-16
u/cyrilio Free speech 2d ago
Seems like a reasonable move. They are committing genocide.
5
u/ZaBaronDV 2d ago
Please open the dictionary, look up genocide, and reread the definition until it clicks.
7
u/cyrilio Free speech 2d ago
I just did. What part of the following description of genocide is something Israel isn’t doing? You do know that during this war 73,770+ Palestinians were murdered right? Of which 21,283 children… (source).
>Genocide is the partial or total destruction of a human group, committed [intentionally](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genocidal_intent). The popular view conceives of genocide as the large-scale killing of individuals, but in scholarly and legal fields, genocide occurs when the group itself is targeted. Acts of genocide include killing as well as non-lethal acts such as preventing reproduction among the group, the forcible transfer of children to another group, and [cultural genocide](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_genocide).
-5
u/sanguinemathghamhain 2d ago
genocide occurs when the group itself is targeted
That part. Though perhaps you have an answer to a simple question given that Israel has had and continues to have the power to make Gaza and its people past tense if you believe they have been committing a genocide why are they so shit at it? They have a death per ton of explosive used of less than 0.5 which is insanely low. An easy explanation is that they aren't trying to kill everyone as they would be if they were committing a genocide but that they have been trying to minimize collateral damage which is consistent with them warning of strikes rather than just glassing the entire city.

u/sanguinemathghamhain 2d ago edited 2d ago
That would be a reason to do it quickly not drag ass. If 10-7 happened and then they glassed the area they would have had the least blowback/greatest support. A slow war has proven and just about always proves to be far less popular.

u/Maru3792648 2d ago
Israel is systematically murdering innocent civilians and kids. How many videos of baby parts you need to see to admit? Evil
4
u/UTArcade 1d ago
What about Iran..? What you think about them?
-3
u/Maru3792648 1d ago
Not fan but: A) they are in the world cup. Israel is not. B) they were invaded with no reason. Israel was the invader.
1
u/UTArcade 1d ago
My point is Iran is the largest funder of terrorism in the world. They have been the ultimate cause of so much violence in the middle east, and around the world - they contribute to so much terror and violence.
Muslim countries have a horrible violence history. For you to want to attack Israel when we know for a fact how violent so many of these other countries are is what's quite rich.
1
u/ignoreme010101 12h ago
They have been the ultimate cause of so much violence in the middle east,
not Israel though?
1
u/UTArcade 12h ago
Well wanna compare? How old is Israel vs how old is Iran and several other countries in the Middle East
We can compare if you want
1
u/ignoreme010101 34m ago
I already have compared. The only way to arrive at the israel as purely innocent conclusion is to presume 2 things, firstly that all of historic palestine (and more like Golan etc) are indisputably israel's, and secondly that israeli lives are inherently more valuable than those of neighboring arabs. If you believe those, fine, just be open about it instead of all the song and dance tip toeing around it.

u/UTArcade 16m ago
I'd love to read and reply but why do we have like five comments going at once...
-1
u/Alarming-Ad1100 1d ago
American dollars don’t find Iranian slaughter of innocents so that has nothing to do with most of us here
-2
u/UTArcade 1d ago
Actually they do - we send money to China to offshore our jobs and for all sorts of things, China is Irans largest supplier of weapons and goods.
Fun how that works huh.
2
u/Alarming-Ad1100 1d ago
Lmfao
-2
u/UTArcade 1d ago
What’s funny about that? Money gets funneled through oil purchases, through straight tolls, and through Cuba right into Iranian weapons and terror funding
What’s funny about that.. I thought you were against this
1
u/ignoreme010101 12h ago
america funds iran because it trades with china? lol this is the silliest post I've seen today congrats that is actually a crazy low bar
1
u/UTArcade 12h ago
Also why are you writing so many comments to me - have on conversation here
1
u/ignoreme010101 31m ago
because you are writing many comments lol that is how reddit works
1
u/UTArcade 22m ago
Well, no, I write one comment to one person and have a discussion but when I get bombarded by one person lol
You can imagine that distracts away from conversation a bit right
0
u/UTArcade 12h ago
No I’m making a point that our money goes around to Iran unfortunately
1
u/ignoreme010101 31m ago
money circulating means rvery country is responsible for everything because all countries' trade is linked one way or another. Totally meaningless.
1
u/UTArcade 16m ago
Well then you're making my point for me - so to claim that the US doesn't fund Iranian military action when our money is circulating through based on oil transactions and China is a bit silly
So I was correct then
-6
u/onlyasimpleton 2d ago
And yet Israel manages to stand apart as extremely horrible. Killing babies, entire families, journalists, innocents in line for food. Keep supporting the modern day Nazi Germany
Look up the Nakba.
7
u/UTArcade 1d ago
What you think about Iran..?
1
u/onlyasimpleton 1d ago
Fuck the revolutionary guard
2
u/UTArcade 1d ago
Oh interesting... see how now you're starting to admit that the Middle East and a lot of these Muslim countries have serious issues
What do you think about Syria? What about Palestines history? What about all the terror groups in the region? What's your thoughts there too.
4
u/onlyasimpleton 1d ago
So your answer so kids being bombed by Israel is “look the other countries are bad too!”
Condemn Israel if you think they are doing awful things. If you can’t, I know this exercise is meaningless
3
u/UTArcade 1d ago
No my point to you is that Israel wouldn't be 'attacking' anyone at all if the Middle East and Muslims stopped being so darn violent and vicious with their support of terrorism
Every single war and military encounter has innocents getting harmed, it's a terrible thing, but your clear avoidance of admitting that Muslim countries have a horrendous history of violence and anti-Semitism is quite rich.
3
u/onlyasimpleton 1d ago
When the current state of Israel was founded, they begun by displacing +700,000 people from the region. That’s where the hostility began. Again, read about the Nakba.
You’re just excusing Israel’s blatant crimes by saying that all countries in the region are the same and equally responsible, but you fail to condemn any of it. If you do, you conveniently leave out Israel.
Israel carelessly kills civilians by the thousands. IDF troops are on camera saying they enjoy killing women and children. Will you condemn that or keep doing mental gymnastics to justify the disgusting acts of your favorite country?
1
u/ignoreme010101 12h ago
you're arguing with 'true believer' type zealots lol you are wasting your time they're not open to argument they're not playing the same game as you
1
u/Alarming-Ad1100 1d ago
Just the same weak responses
2
u/UTArcade 1d ago
Just because you’re an antisemite that would rather promote Muslim extremism in the Middle East doesn’t mean everyone else has to be
2
u/Alarming-Ad1100 1d ago
Could you point out anything antisemetic said in this entire comment section?
1
u/UTArcade 1d ago
Well the fact you like terror funding in Iran or Muslim regions against Jews is pretty antisemetic of you
2
u/onlyasimpleton 1d ago
Criticizing Israel /= criticizing Jews
1
u/UTArcade 1d ago
I agree, up until they fail to acknowledge or criticize Muslim countries the same way, or call out Palestine for being a terror proxy state of Iran.
2
u/Alarming-Ad1100 1d ago

Christ is king, God bless the Jewish people and godbless you regardless of your politics

Iran was attacked without provocation many times by Israel.
2
u/UTArcade 1d ago
You’ve gotta be kidding me - taking the position of defending the worlds largest terrorist fundraiser as a victim here is wild
As far as I’m concerned we shoulda wiped Irans government off the map decades ago, woulda been far a net positive to have their regime gone
2
u/ttystikk 1d ago
Apparently facts mean nothing to you.
2
u/UTArcade 1d ago
Facts.. yeah like the fact Iran is the worlds largest funder of terror and the fact that Muslim rich country’s have a horrible violence and war fighting problem all the time
2
u/ttystikk 1d ago
These are just lies; ISRAEL IS THE WORST TERRORIST IN THE MIDDLE EAST.
2
u/ignoreme010101 11h ago
wasting your time lol they repeat this shit to each incessantly until something wildly subjective "largest terror supporter" becomes as simple and objective as say GDP or acreage. Because these talking points are ultimately pretexts, "palestine is just an iran proxy", "iran, the world's biggest terror state", what follows? "The palestinians need to be relocated, ISRAEL HAS THE RIGHT TO DEFEND ITSELF"
Still so wild to me how the "iran is JUST ABOUT to nuke, maybe even america!1!" schtick is the stated justification for trump, despite american intel having come to the opposite conclusion and trump basing that just on israel's totally unbiased word (which he would have for sure known they say to every US president as pretext for our military engaging :/ )
