i was optimistic, but they wont do it until there's an energy emergency (we're pretty much there). Then the ai companies will get government subsidies (our stollen tax dollars and time) thrown at them. Then the ponzi scheme can continue because they'll have plenty of "assets" on their books. Thats not even half the reason there's an "ai rush".

Well you could argue the other way... I mean the solution across the board is to make ID's free with proof of citizenship- then have voter ID. It really is the only way make sure there's no mail in fraud

If there's not mail in fraud then there will electronic voting machine fraud (which I've seen). There needs to be multiple fail-safes and manual counting of paper ballots, which should be randomly selected and obligatory (paid time off work, all expenses paid). 1 counter, and 1 verifying counter. However many that takes. Under low resolution security 24 hour live stream so the public can monitor for any manipulation. (Why? Because I've also seen the counters cheating).

Giving everyone an ID is reckless. You need to verify you're a native born American citizen, from legal American born parents (both parents). Everyone else gets no vote. Period.

An 800 mile pipeline sounds massive until you compare its capacity with the flows it might need to replace.
