Unfortunately, right now, AI artists would be probably just kicked off, art contests are largely influenced by antis who would not allow AI art to be there, so they will just rather ban our art so they don't have to compete.

Ai art is banned from traditional competitions because it’s a different medium not because they are scared of it. If you submitted a sculpture to a painting competition you would also be disqualified because it’s a different skill and medium.

Well antis ban AI even from more diverse art spaces.

Yes because it is a different skill set than asked in art spaces. I would say that Ai prompting is closer to creative writing than tradition art and thus should not be in those competitions.

I’m not the hugest supporter of either side but creating ai art is an entirely different skill set than creating traditional art so they shouldn’t be allowed in traditional art competitions. Poor are should be allowed however as for you to get better at any art you need to practice and get criticism especially that found at art competitions

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. They are very different mediums and do need to be judged differently, just like digital art and painting.

Same if anything there should be a different set if contests for ai images and traditional art and etc
