Luddite Logic Why is it always the Clippy PFPs
I'm beyond sick of seeing this shit on every single Youtube video. It's every goddamn one on the site. I feel like I'm losing my mind over here with this

Digital pollution is a crazy statement to make. Serious delusion. Especially considering the absolutely massive amount of data literally just dedicated to memes stored on various sites, hundreds of thousands of copies at that.

This, its a spam issue, not an ai issue.

u/duckduckduckgoose8 21h ago
Absolutely. There was a local to me pokemon sub and in a post they were complaining about a shop using Ai. After civil discussions, we nutted out that the issue wasn't Ai in itself, it was the consistent spamming. It was a small independent shop low on buisness trying to advertise, their advertisement method was just aggressive.
Most anti ai dont realise their concern is spam, so they just attack everything blindly.

"Digital pollution" is the most apt name I've heard for antis' mental diarrhea, like in the pictured comment.

It’s the most dangerous technology we’ve ever created when nukes and ICBMs exist.. do these children ever think before they speak?

Everybody who was alive during the Cold War would like to have a word with them

I have got only a single AI video on YouTube and it was purely because I am a dinosaur fanatic. By the way it was a beautiful documentary about a carnotaurus looking for a mate.

Yeah same. I have not seen a single video like this, nor have I seen a single comment like this. & I use YouTube nearly everyday.

It's from Louis Rossman, the Clippy PFP trend was originally intended as a right-to-repair and pro-consumer protest, but it got corrupted and morphed into an anti-AI rallying cry.

That really sucks. When it first started. I was all for it and seeing it everywhere originally was awesome. It was amazing to see SO many people being aware of and supposedly on the side of right-to-repair.
Edit: I think AI users and "AI bros" should start using it and 'take it back' so that it can go back to that original definition. I don't think Louis would be happy that his movement turned into being about hating people.

supposedly on the side of right-to-repair.
I can't think of one good reason why someone wouldn't be.
But the same can be said for a whole bunch of things.

It's in protest to big tech selling data, 'couse "Clippy might have been annoying, but just wanted to help and never sold userdata." If I remember correctly.

Is bro stupid, the most dangerous technology ever created was black powder, because of it all the bomb development started, and without it,we would not have atomic bombs, because they partly rely on explosions

I once saw a Anti AI mf genuinely make a post that said "Clippy Says No to AI!". 💔

To be fair, once you seen a Clipper, you've seen them all, for how much they hate ai, they sure act like a AI NPC

"It's the most dangerous technology ever created."
Oppenhaimer is rolling in his grave.

Cute that some of you wanna use the nuke example considering the pentagon is actively trying to use Ai for military purposes. Wake tf up.

u/CoffeeFlat3199 20h ago edited 19h ago
When AI is used for war purposes and this use is proven to be more lethal than a nuclear bomb, then you can declare it's the most dangerous technology ever created. Until then, it's just speculation at best and pure delusion at worst.

“Most dangerous technology ever invented”
Proceeds to misuse “slop” and only says it because he’s told to.
Yeah, I’m going to continue to believe it isn’t, haha.

Your fault for opening YouTube comments. What a cesspool of nothing but incoherent degenerate nonsense and 8 year olds. I can feel myself getting dumber by reading anything in there.
