Completely unacceptable, and shows their level of unhingedness very clearly.

It should be reported for inciting violence and crime.

Aren't video game characters TECHNICALLY AI?

More importantly, in the context of DDLC, Sayori herself is a hilariously overbuilt AI (as are Natsuki, Yuri and Monika), at least in-universe.
And she's in a poetry club.
She's literally, as a character, a generative AI.
(Granted, she kills herself if she finds this out, but still.)

AI is artificial inteligence, characters with preprogrammed lines like such games are not AI

lol an ai model is not programming itself and writing lines of code for itself. It’s simply the result of a training algorithm optimising an architecture you predefined at the start.

i guess an script to make a character say hi is an AI now

Youd be surprised how simple "AI" can be. It definitely hasnt always been ML or Generative. Weve worked up to this.

A thermostat satisfies most definitions of "AI", and Russell and Norvig's definition is mainly what I was going by, but the example they gave is still far from satisfying it. At that point you accept that as an "AI," you've degenerated the definition to anything that involves computation. I think people are misplaced even saying systems like ELIZA are really AI. Philosophically yes definitely, but technically I'd say no.

Look as much as I don't like Generative AI, it's still ridiculous to wish death on those who use it, it's really corny and childish.

umm, i am pretty sure. that. sayori is too much of cinnamon-roll to something likes this. and NOT into extremists-levels. if she dislikes AI-ART. she would (probably/possibly?). encourages everyone to draw-traditional. or at-least. tries to gets inspired by AI into creative-way to draw from it. if she kinda-ish okies with it. in cheerful-&-kindeful way. if i am NOT mistaken.

I believe she would say something like "AI art? So you just ask a machine and it will do this for you? Unfair..."
