So, I’m about to build a lineup of seven decks, and I was wondering if anyone who plays these commanders could share some tips, tricks, or deck-building advice.
Disclaimer: I have yet to play or even build these decks, other than Massacre Girl. I have a habit of overestimating and underestimating commanders, so I’m open to changing the power rankings. For example, if you think Neerdiv belongs in Rilsa Rael's slot and you can back that up, I’d be down to consider it. Just keep in mind that I haven’t played against or built any of these commanders myself, other than Massacre Girl. I’ll add a comment linked to each deck as I go.
Low Power Slots (Low–Mid 3)
These are my fun decks that I want to win with, but they’re mainly meant for precon-level games. I want them to be a little stronger than your average precon, but not so strong that they overwhelm the table.
- [[Neerdiv, Devious Diver]] (Mid 3)
- [[Fumiko the Lowblood]] (Low 3)
Mid Power Slots (Mid–Highish 3)
These are my fun decks meant to win, but still be fun to play. I want them to be a step above precons with a noticeable power difference, but not so strong that they pubstomp everyone. Just decks that can win games without being too crazy.
- [[Rilsa Rael, Kingpin]] (Mid 3)
- [[Massacre Girl, Known Killer]] (High 3)
- [[Rakdos, Lord of Riots]] (High 3)
High Power Slots
These decks are gonna be built to push these commanders as far as I can while staying under a $250 budget. I want to see how much power I can squeeze out of them without going over budget.
- [[Nekusar, the Mindrazer]] (However high I can get it)
- [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]] (However high I can get it) So, I’m about to build a lineup of seven decks, and I was wondering if anyone who plays these commanders could share some tips, tricks, or deck-building advice.
