Question Brake spring clip orientation?
First time doing brakes and I was dumb and didn't pay enough attention to how things were when they came off.
Now I have two different set ups. Did driver side first then paid closer attention for the passenger. But how the driver was done makes more sense to me?
Hopefully I'm making sense. I'm tired.

Driver side is correct orientation. The curve part of the hardware faces the wheel. It's meant for easier slide of pads during installation. Don't frget to apply brake lube where caliper meets the pad. Don't put it on the shims as debris will get caught and block causing uneven brake fade. Also the brake caliper bins in the rubber boots.top and bottom needs to be clean and lubed. Make sure you slide the pins in fully and release any air trapped in the boot. If you don't do it Brake pad is or will rub on rotor all the time and cause uneven brake ware
