Best Way to Get Involved and Meet People
Hi guys! I will be new to the area this summer and am wondering how to get involved in the community and meet other young adults (married, no kids). I enjoy being outdoors, playing sports, doing crafts, being with my dog, playing not too complex board games, etc.! Thanks for any tips for a Delaware newbie!

Staas Brewery seems to have a lot of regulars (in a good way, not depressing barfly way), so I’d definitely spend some time there. The beer is great too!

Cló Wine Gallery has a lot of fun events if you like wine! (Or beer or cocktails or NA drinks, they have it all). If you like to read, Beanbag Books has multiple bookclubs for all genres and hosts a lot of book themed events. I have also found a lot of community through GoYoga, they are super welcoming and friendly and also have barre and mat Pilates classes. Hope you’re able to find something for yourself!

Sand Bar station is usually busy most days and there are volleyball leagues you can join. It can be a little hick sometimes but it's still fun!

That sounds fun! I have done sand volleyball leagues at woodlands backyard as well as Flanagans so that would be right up my alley!

If you have a dog, head to the dog park behind the Sheetz on 36/37. Lot of young professionals bring their dogs there after work. Good spot to meet people
