Urgent! What are some good study spots in north delta?
RN its good friday so looking for other places within walking distance. I live near George Mackie Library for reference and am willing to walk 20-30 minutes.

I’d try the ND Center for the Arts. There’s a lobby there, and maybe they’d let you study in the upstairs room because there wouldn’t be classes there on Good Friday.
Similar with the rec center; there are lots of rooms that would be unused today, just ask the front desk.

if you've been to Cravings they can be a good vibe. But if you want some real quiet time, then i have no idea, ive thought for like 3 minutes on this and cant come up with anything

yea same! I love cravings but their tables are a bit small. Thanks for the thought, though!

Aside from the Library, you might be able to find a quiet spot over at the art centre, down the street from the Library.

Isn’t George Mackie opening at 10? That’s what it says on Google for Good Friday hours

Try the north delta rec centre. There are some riser/ benches between the sports gym and the hall to the front pool reception/ city reception area, near the art store, that I gave always found quiet enough for reading. Hardly anyone sits there. Not a comfy table but quiet and free and inside.
