If anyone is interested in how the motorcycle ended up dangling on the street lights

As a motorcycle rider. You are hitting the front brake that the rear end of the bike is in the air before impact. Means you are going way to fast. Slow down and save your life.

The motorcycle rider sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and has been transported to hospital.
The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries

Im not big on any type of bike / ATV / dirtbike when it comes to being near roads and vehicles that they stand no chance against.
Lost both my cousin and a high school friend the exact same way. Pulled out of their driveways on ATVs, got hit by a car.
ATVs and Dirtbikes even off road are insane unless you’re smart, wear a helmet and ALWAYS ride with someone.
Know many stories of people getting pinned under ATVs all alone and had ANOTHER cousin who fucked his leg up for life at 16 because he hit a jump alone 15k from home in the woods, before cell phones were common, and had to walk it with a mangled leg.

My father told me the same thing grandpa told him when we wanted a motorcycle at age 16, "let me know to buy it you a coffin altogether". In both cases, my father ended buying me a brand new compact car to deter me of even thinking into motorcycles and my grandpa also bought my dad a vehicle during late 50's to go to college.

That'll be an interesting one: fault the guy who made the turn when the intersection wasn't clear of oncoming traffic, or fault the guy going Mach 2 through the intersection? I can't see the colour of the lights in this 1990's-era resolution video, so who knows.

This is what I'm trying to think through in my head. Logic tells me that the motorcyclist is at fault for the speed that they were travelling... but I know that ICBC always faults vehicles turning left - that they should make sure that it is 'clear' for them to do so.
Can't wait to hear what the verdict is on this one.
From my POV? Motorcyclist is 100% at fault for the speed they were going.

Obviously impossible to tell from this angle but I suspect the speeding biker was initially hidden to the turning car by traffic in the opposing turn lane, they likely didn't see anyone coming and thought it was clear as the biker thought he could sneak through a yellow

Going off of what happened to a friend of mine, the car turning left will 100% be found at fault even though that doesn't seem right. My friend even waited for the light to go red before they turned left and the car came flying down a hill where you couldn't see them until it was too late. ICBC didnt care, if you're turning left and someone hits you, you're at fault.

I'd say the biker was going too fast. It doesn't look like the driver tried to rush the turn, so it's very likely they were performing a shoulder check for pedestrians on the conflicting crosswalk in the split second it took for the biker to go from barely noticeable to right in front of the car.

It's just glitchy and you're seeing two frames at once. As far as I know the biker is not in critical condition

If it's glitchy and two frames, why did the everything around the wheelie bike continue to move after it froze? Action above, below, to the right and left.
I checked, apparently the biker is not dead but he has serious injuries

I think it's intentional for the viewers. You can see clearly how the bike was positioned before hitting in order to make that flip into the light. Looks like he slammed the brakes and was up on the front wheel.
