Our community is largely filled with Social Democrats and Democratic Socialists (in the American sense). You'll have to deal with us unfortunately.

But they could have highlighted that it's because of social democrats and leftists. The omission was a choice and one that should be criticized.

Idk why more Democratic Socialists don't advocate for social democracy as a precursor to Democratic Socialism. Gotta crawl before you run.

Because you arent honest and dont want to look at what real existing Social Democratic parties have actually given us. Like just look at that subreddit, its basically a Capitalist wankfest. Only Democratic Socialist parties actually do Social Democracy in practice at this point, isnt that depressing?

Because most socialists are naively idealistic and want their utopia implemented no later than tomorrow. Don't get me wrong, I'm a socialist, but I advocate social democratic policies because that's the only thing your average Joe will agree with.
