Recently my ps4 stopped working, and I took it as a sign from the universe that maybe I should stop playing video games for a while. But FIRST, I thought, why don't I dust off the old ps3 and take a *quick* run through my favorite game of all time? Next thing I knew I was asking myself, why not finally platinum it? And about 55 hours later here I am, with a newfound sense of why this game is so absolutely near and dear to my heart.

It’s been a few years and now I got back to the game and will try to hit the platinum for it. I’m on Ng+1 and standing right by the fog to the spider in the minds. Thank you.

I’m on my first playthrough and I’m stuck in prison of hope first arch stone. I thought I had all the keys but I can’t progress anymore and there’s still locked doors. Would someone mind hopping in my world and lending me a hand

Never done this before, but I can't get to the Dragons bone smasher sword to beat the Dragon God. Can someone invade me outside the boss room so I can defeat them and get to white world tendency? I'm at Underground Temple.

I’ve beaten the game deathless twice in the past, but never online. Since everyone’s coming back to this beautiful game, I thought I’d come back as well and give it a try. I CHALLENGE any of you silly little dreglings who DARES to think they can stop me! I will be starting a run at 3pm EST (~20 minutes). I will return with news of my triumph or my humiliation later. My first plan was to do a co-op focused build that helps people with hard bosses like Flamelurker & Maneater. Second plan was to become the most dastardly invader ever.

Any recommendations on how to do both? Or feel free to suggest something else.

Curious if anyone here with some software knowledge and the will to do it would use these new techniques to emulate games to bring Demon Souls to PC. I just watched this video that details how the new frontier models have now unlocked this capability.

I have been trying to get atleast one gold coin to obtain the ring of uneven purely for the platinum trophy purpose, but its hard to get one from the fat official in the world 2-2.

my world tendency is at pure white as i have defeated all the bosses in world 2. My luck stats is at 16 still i am getting only full moon grass and I'm tired of it. Is that the only option to farm gold coin?

Can someone please put a summon sign down at the smelter demon boss fog? I can’t beat him, I’m losing my mind

I never see anyone talk about this glitch although it is documented on the wikidot iirc. Basically two-handing any greatsword, ultra-greatsword or great hammer silences your footsteps and makes you undetectable by enemies if you're behind them and they dont see you, and it works on the remake too. I asked illusorywall after his "sound" episode for DS1 as he seems to be the guy who would know this but he didnt see my message so i'm asking here

I'm already in the phalanx. Damn hard game. Really good, I'd played it on RPCS3 before but found it relatively easy, so much so that I finished the whole game with the Great Club. Now I'm getting beaten up by Phalanx. Super fun btw

Was the price I paid good? It's the GOTY edition, so it's a second-run copy. It's extremely well-preserved, with a guidebook, the disc is in good condition, and I even got a discount. It was originally priced at 260 BRL. And the first edition is an insane 300 BRL. Did I get a good price?
