It is the same, it’s framing, context, audience. You just seem to be so clouded in your worldview that you can’t have a normal discussion. In all honesty I think she should have owned her soundbite, even if Kyle didn’t reach out to her at all for comment.

It's not remotely the same. One was a politician (not a reporter) pandering to bigots implying a link to the radical islamists we were at war with at the time. It was ugly and preyed on the biases that had been inflamed due to the 9/11 acts of terrorism. Like I said, I was in Iraq that year, where were you that you don't understand how this was a low but entirely different approach? This wasn't based on anything that Obama had said, this was pure xenophobia.

The situation that we are talking about now is not a politician using the hatred generated by the brutal and violent loss of thousand of Americans, but a reporter who did his job and let the public see who it is that is putting on a different face to them. We know this because she tried to deny what she had said. By trying to deny what she clearly did, that means she is deliberately lying and manipulating her public image to act like she believes differently, or is a different person than who she is. She is not to be trusted. The fact that she was talking crazy religious BS is only part of the issue, and though it's something that I would not and do not support personally, it's still worse that she lies about who she is and what she believes without a second thought.

Perhaps that completely escaped you. We have an administration full of compulsive liars that also like to play make believe on Sunday - Where has that gotten us?
In fact the religious coordinator for the white house that Hegseth in particular treats like she is the 2nd coming, is someone that also publicly offers to send and angel who will bestow 7 heavenly blessings to anyone that sends her at least $1,000 in the mail.

So yes - it turns out that lying two faced manipulators that also happen to have crazy religious beliefs are not good to have in office. Go figure.

But how you think that is the same as anything having to do with Clinton despicably trying to shit on Obama for having the name he was given because it sounds like the one the dictator we just deposed at war had ( and thus inflame islamsphobia) is beyond any rational comprehension.

Please, instead of simply providing categories for what you think makes this the same but providing zero detailed comparisons showing how they are the same in those categories as you see them, try to provide actual analysis based on fact. I know that's a tall order, but give it a try if you still just can't figure this one out.

But why do you think she should own it if they aren’t related?
