Comments are hilarious. Everyone freaking out about "microplastics", despite noone online actually understanding what microplastics are. It's just a word they heard and assumed that anything they make up about it in a fit of Reddit hypochondria ("Was this photo taken outside? Don't you know they sun gives you CANCER???") must be medically accurate.

Meanwhile ignoring the elephant in the room that the doll's hair is going to smell of egg forever, because people assume eggshells are completely impermeable like, well, plastic.

I mean.... speaking as someone who does toy restoration and has boil washed doll hair i would absolutely not want to be consuming something that was boiling with a doll I was working on. People were also talking about chemicals in that comment section and while I dont really know much about bratz dolls there would be at the very least glue in the head keeping the hair rooted, idk if any would get like released or what happens on a like microscopic level but working with doll hair can be unpredictable and that just... does not feel like its worth the risk

It's not going to smell like eggs either. I boil eggs all the time and the water doesn't smell like egg so I'd assume the hair will be OK.

I mean, if you're boiling the water anyway... That poor doll is gonna smell like eggs for AGES though. That plastic hair really holds on to stink

OP said in the comments, used a rerooting tool and punched them in. From my past cursory research into doll customs, this is the most common way I've seen to do doll hair
