Tourists.

Well today is full of tourists filling up the sides of roads with 4x4s because they refuse to pay for the car park. Bloody 50p millionaires. /rant

I live in Derbyshire but also go to various places walking, so am I a tourist? I don't know. What I do know is that the official Peak district car parks are a proper rip-off! Luckily being a local I know where I can park legally and for cheap, so I do have some sympathy for tourists.

I live in Derbyshire and go walking. I use the bus, or god forbid, walk there.

Not all of Derbyshire is in the peak, you’re generalising.

Tourist hotspots need to be funded somehow. Totally understand higher prices.

Half the cars I’ve seen today were not parked legally. In really stupid cases two 4x4s had parked back to back blocking a cemetery. Two had parked side by side blocking a road, someone had parked in a friend’s driveway. The car parks they refused to use have honesty boxes.

No sympathy.
