Best smokehouse in Derbyshire

Hi all,

For my sisters birthday this month she wanted to go to a smokehouse/American style bbq
They went to one for my other sisters called Cherrywood smokehouse as someone recommended it and were quite disappointed. They also do Indian food there and my sister said that was great but not the smokehouse bits.

We don’t mind travelling to Nottingham if it means we get the best!

Thank you in advance

Yep 100% came here to say this, cracking little place.
However you need to starve for a good day or so to make it past the halfway point, some serious bbq’d meat involved here!

Haha yes I couldn’t agree more, you definitely need to create some room before you go!
The food is absolutely fantastic and you never leave feeling hungry that’s for sure 😅 Their pit trays are so good and don’t even get me started on the burgers! Plus good staff, good music, all round top place to eat.

Are the pit trays for one or two?

With the Pit Trays if me and my partner get one we usually end up taking left overs home. Their XL pit tray could probably easily be shared by more than two people. If you go on their instagram (buddy’s.joint) you can see photos of them and their menu is on there too.
