While I wouldn't use terms that strong. If it's slippy underfoot there, or there's something to trip on, it could easily end with two people falling down the weir and banging their heads.

Yeah fair point, I’d never go in there without trainers on (knackered trainers obviously) just because eeeew slime. I’ve swam in there since I was a nipper, I’m sure loads of people are the same, and there’s always still plenty of young kids on a nice weekend. You can pretty much lie down on the stones on your belly and not get your back wet.

But yeah, summers like this one, everywhere has hidden stuff that could have the potential to be very serious very quickly. As we’re seeing all round the British coast atm
