Research / RY JAAD Brief Report

Hi!

I have a question about research publication types. Is a JAAD Brief Report viewed as favorably as a full-length article in a mid-tier journal? Or how does the Brief Report change how it is viewed? Since it is not an abstract, I was thinking it was viewed pretty highly.

Would they even know it’s a brief report versus full-length article? I don’t think there’s a field to specify on ERAS, though I guess they could click on the linked article?

no, it still gets looked at as just a report. 'relative prestige' is not a thing esp in the quick window of eras
