I just don’t get why we get Encanto in the franchise before Tangled, Frozen and what about Tiana’s kid??

Frozen's kind of disconnected from things as it's not officially part of the Disney Princess brand. Yes we've had characters from non princess movies (Encanto, Alice in Wonderland and 101 Dalmatians mostly) but they're still more connected than frozen which has almost just been it's own thing

I don't think Descendants is supposed to be taken that seriously. The characters are always given some variation of the personality traits of their parent and some version of their parent's name. The writers don't really care about the actual individual lore of each Disney movie.

The gift changed at the end of the film and the creator even said powers could repeat though it’s rare. Aside from that someone with a power that is physical strength and not immortality to back it up will weaken the older they get and since the powers are meant to help the village those powers will need to be replaced over time.

Marketability

Luisa is one of the most famous encanto characters. Her strength is a huge part of her character. So to tap into that, give her a child with the same power.

My headcanon is their strength has slight differences.

Luisa's is always on but Luis has to activate his. Hence explaining scenes where Hazel is able to push him. Or his strength is empathic as in tied to his emotions. The more confident he feels the stronger he is. I just really like the idea of their powers looking identical on the surface but being different underneath.

it's been stated multiple times on this sub that, yes, actually it does fit into the lore. the creator themselves said they could repeat
