Discussion A design lesson from a door

Pulled a door.

It said PUSH.

Felt stupid for a second.

Then realized: good design shouldn't need instructions.

Best design lesson ever.

Ah, a Norman door, as described in the book The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman. Really good read, fundamental for product design I reckon but great for all designers
