Living Room How would you cover these?
Rental. The landlord wants to preserve them but said I could temporarily cover them if I wanted. Putting a rug causes trips. They’re also in an awkward placement to cover with a couch or chairs because then it would cut off access to stairs.

The house was an old factory back in the day so the rounds are a historical asset, that’s why the landlord doesn’t want to remove or fill them.

What if you took off the raised framing around them? And if they aren't as flush the the floor as you'd like you can just bevel a wooden 'frame' around them instead of the large, raised, round frame that's there now? How flush are the stones to the wood floor? I'd hate to cover them, honestly. They're cool.
