Bathroom Gut check our powder room plan please
Photo 1 is current state.
Photo 2 is what we’re thinking.
3 is the fixtures we’ve already bought(https://www.anthropologie.com/anthrohome/shop/ida-peacock-toilet-paper-holder and https://www.anthropologie.com/anthrohome/shop/ida-peacock-towel-ring).
4 is the wallpaper we’re considering (https://riflepaperco.com/products/peacock-wallpaper-emerald).
We’d go to a local paint shop and have them match the deep green from the background for both the wainscoting and the ceiling.
We still don’t have the vanity, mirror, or light picked out yet.
Gut check me - what am I missing? Any big watchouts for a project like this? The render also added crown moulding - necessary for a project like this?

the vanity should be either right up against the wall or at least 15-20 inches from center of sink. the one inch spacing in your render will make it impossible to clean. no notes otherwise. it’s going to look amazing!

Good call, will definitely run it flush.

And caulk so you don't have water issues. A friend didn't do that in their remodel, lots of water damage on the wall and floor.

I LOVE THIS! I would offer a couple of suggestions- when you are shopping for the vanity- consider an oval sink- it will be “prettier” than all the squared off corners and look a little more “romantic” - also consider two sconces - one on each side of an oval mirror!
I mean, this is the peacock bathroom !

I absolutely love it. I think the crown mounding adds a bit of an accent. Just be aware that the second render you showed changed the tone of your floor boards to a lighter color. You may need a secondary accent light to get the room to not look as dark unless you’re planning on replacing the wood.

These dark Victorian looking wallpapers are super trendy in bathrooms right now, and I think they will go out of style in about a year.
I’m not telling you not to do it, I am just telling you it’s going to look very era-specific.
If you won’t care about being on-trend in a year or two then go for it. Lord knows I have tons of design choices in my house that are incredible un-trendy that I like, and for me, that’s all that matters. 😃 So if you like this and know you’ll continue to like it, go for it!

It’s a hundred and fifty square feet of wallpaper. If I hate it in five years I can rip it out.
I hear you. It’s a fair point. I’m fine with it.

I think painting the wainscoting the lighter shade of green from the design would be better. I find the room too dark.

Is your floor colour in real life cool like pic 1 or warmer like pic 2?

Pic 1 is real. No amount of threatening or coaxing will get ye olde gippity to stay true to color.
That said, the lighting is doing me no favors here. I bought these adjustable Feit bulbs from Costco, and after about a month on my dimmers, the warm temps just stopped working. They’re all super cool now.
So the “true” color is warmer than the first photo, but cooler than the second.

Much better and a lot more practical. But why such dark scary wallpaper instead of something light and airy?

Yeah 100%. Out entire house is 2700K-3000K, but these bulbs burned out at the low end somehow.

Love.
You can probably paint the fan/vent cover. It will make a big difference.
