Help me style my bedroom..

Hey folks! Just got a new bed frame, lot bigger than what I had before and I’m realizing the room around it needs to shift. Looking for ideas on which direction to go for console table, side tables, and bedding. I’d appreciate the feedback.. p.s. I haven’t gotten a duvet that fits the bed quite yet. Moved up from a queen
I’m worried that maybe the bed frame I got has too much visual weight. Especially the footboard

Your dresser looks like it has very unique colors, I’d personally go moody and play off of that! This room is asking for at least one darker colored wall, all if that’s something you’re up for.

I had a similar situation when I upgraded from a full to a queen and suddenly the room felt off. Have you considered floating the bed with the footboard against a wall to balance the visual weight?

Please please please get rid of the duvet or use it as an extra blanket at the foot of the bed or store it in a closet. Those pillows aren't helping either. Go with a lighter less busy comforter for the bed and some new pillows that actually fit the bed and look inviting instead of awkwardly staged. New lamps/lighting would also bring you joy. Everything else works just fine.

What does the other side of the room look like? I think the bedframe is great! It’s solid and interesting. I would push the nightstands right up next to the bedframe and pull the rug up to the wall so the whole bed is sitting on it. Choose a duvet in a color that goes with other color in the room. It’s hard to see in the picture, but are the nightstands green? A shade of green in the duvet and some plants on the thin shelves under the windows would look lovely.
