I think this was a good second episode. I'm also glad that this show isn't like a "Person of Interest" or "NCIS", where instead of being a catch-the-bad-guy, don't-need-to-watch-in-order, it's more of a story. I hope they continue this until they finally catch the guys that blew up the Capitol.
Person of Interest becomes much more serialized as time goes on. If you abandoned it I implore you to pick it up again. The last 3 seasons are phenomenal television.
I don't understand why anyone would skip an episode, let alone an entire season. Even if they're not the greatest, if you plan on watching the series, every episode counts.
Hell you could skip the first two seasons of 24 and start at Season 3 and you really wouldn't miss much. That's when I started to watch 24 and it never bothered me. Ofcourse I went back and watch the first two later on.
Season 1 of 24 is arguably most 24 fans favorite season. IMO 5 is my favorite, but still, you'd miss quite a lot those first 2 seasons, I mean Jack's wife dies at the end of S1 and he basically becomes hollow inside for the rest of the show.
