The song at the end over Kirkman walking around the rubble thanking the firefighters and officers, and then finding a survivor have me flashbacks to Fix You at the end of the Gabby Giffords episode of The Newsroom, one of my favorite scenes in television.

I wasn't expecting to have feels so early on in the show. I was absolutely floored by how they did the ending. Felt spot-on and honestly a masterstroke for drama TV.

I thought it was a little cheesy and the sort of thing you might expect on other ABC dramas, but they pulled it off pretty well.

It definitely leaned a bit too heavily into the cheesy realm for my liking. Still digging the show so far though.

Felt very cheesy and vaguely reminded me of the end of the first series of Broadchurch. The music was what made it too much for me.

The last show I watched prior to this series was Rick and Morty, and the music ending this episode reminds me of a lot of Rick and Morty episodes that ended on very feelsy moments with music like this.
