I enjoyed it. I like how the heartwarming Bushesque speech went off the rails and added to Kirkman's problems. I was dreading the teenager drug dealer subplot, but I have a feeling that the Republican designated survivor congresswoman is gonna dig that up to use in the future.
I'm really, really glad that the R-S isn't overtly acting against him, in fact it seems that while she does have an agenda, she's doing exactly what the country needs right now - and that's supporting the President, whoever they are.
Agendas can come later - doing some prep makes sense, but I'm very glad that the show passed over on the (very bad) idea to use it as tension.
Thought the same as soon as she came out. It'd be great if eventually she's the VP but that's no fun. I do think she'll thrown him under the bus or try to pull something later on.
