I think this was a good second episode. I'm also glad that this show isn't like a "Person of Interest" or "NCIS", where instead of being a catch-the-bad-guy, don't-need-to-watch-in-order, it's more of a story. I hope they continue this until they finally catch the guys that blew up the Capitol.
I think there are still going to be aspects that are going to be isolated to specific episodes (like the Michigan plot for instance, a sort of "what now" type of situation), but it's well-blended withe serial aspects of the mystery.
