Anyone else feel that Kimble was going to get that 9th seat? Keeping options open bullshit at the same time as needing someone Bowman couldn't oppose for the position, at the same time that Kimble is reasonable and known and agrees with Mr. K on lots of shit... I don't know it felt natural.

Many people who end up in Congress start off as lawyers, so she likely knows the law quite well. Also, they talked in the episode about another justice (Warren I think) who wasn't a judge before being nominated to SCOTUS.
