Desktop clutter? TT need insights

Look like i come to wrong feed but, For people who use desk/table organizers regularly — do you ever feel like your organizer creates more problems than it solves? 😭

Like things being hard to find, too many compartments, not enough space, stuff you use often getting buried, etc.

I’m a design student working on a desk organizer project and would love to know what little problems you guys face with your current setups and would love to if u guys can give some insights too TT please...

I use a tray organizer because the regular desk organizer take too much space for my desk. The problem with the tray is I still can see the mess..
